Our Wedding! :D

Well, here we are 3 months after the fact and I still haven't put pictures up of our wedding! So to start, here are the pictures from the reception that night. Enjoy!

All the pictures were taken by my new sister-in-law Michelle Smith. Didn't she do a great job??

Jake's Aunt Teri played the harp for the entire reception. She did an amazing job! Thanks Aunt Teri!
This one I just had to throw in because it was amazing that Michelle got a picture of it. This is my old home teacher from when I was really little and he lives in Provo so he came down to say hi. He was also my favorite home teacher so I was really excited!

This is the gorgeous cake that Jake's mom Dawn made for us. She did everything on it and doesn't it look amazing?? It tasted so good too! Thanks Mom!
These were just a few of the decorations that we had at the reception. Jake's mom has a friend that used to do this professionally so she asked her to do it. I thought that it looked absolutely amazing. Thanks Melissa!

Update!

It has been forever and a day since I updated this cute little blog of ours and so here's what has gone down since the last post.
-Jake took me up to the top of a mountain called Prospector's Peak on his dirt bike. When we got there, there was a blanket laid out with Subway sandwiches (our favorite), my favorite type of oreos, two plastic champagne glasses, and a bottle of sparkling cider. He has his brother Clay take everything up and set up for us so it was ready when we got there. We sat down and before we started eating he pulled out the ring box and asked me to marry him. I said yes of course and then he slipped the ring on my finger. :) and then we ate because we were starving haha. Here's some pictures of the grand event.

-We started school for Fall Semester and finished out that with decent grades which was a good thing :)
-During the semester we came to Nampa to get some Engagement pictures taken. Here are our favorites :)

-Now, we are 4 days away from GETTING MARRIED!!!!!! I am so excited and I can't wait to start life with my best friend!

The Dreaded 7 Week Break...

It came. The break from school between spring and fall semesters. It is 7 weeks long, but it seems a lot longer. Jake stayed in Rexburg and I went home to Nampa. That's 4 1/2 hours away (and that's if you're going 85 the whole way). To get us through the break, we talked on the phone and then we discovered this wonderful invention called Skype. Actually we knew about it before and I had used it many times before to talk with my family but Jake's computer had died and he hadn't gotten a new one yet so we could only talk on the phone. To make matters worse, Jake worked for a company building potato sheds for 9-10 hours a day in the middle of no where with no cellphone service. That means that I got to talk to him at night only and by the time he got home and showered and ate something it was 10:00 and he had to go to bed around 10:30 so he could get up at 6 the next morning and do it all over again. Needless to say that job wasn't a favorite for either of us. We did talk everynight at least so that was nice and when we got skype it was even better because we could see each other and talk at the same time. He didn't know that I took all these pictures while we were talking. :)

This one is first because it is my favorite :) He makes me so happy :)

Look at that smile :) I love it :)

I must have said something really funny because he laughed for a while after this :)

I missed him a lot :(

He came to see me a couple of times and I went to see him a couple of times too. It was good but saying goodbye sucked. It was really hard for me to get back on my shuttle and come back home and him stay in Rexburg. Skype is great but it is also horrible because you get to see the other person but you can't hug them or be right there with them and that sucks. But it is better than just talking on the phone that's for sure :)

Harry Potter Premier

Jake, my roommate Aimee and I all went to the Harry Potter 7 Part 2 Premier together. I was Hermione, Aimee was Bellatirx and Jake was a Muggle.

Aimee makes one heck of a good Bellatrix

Doesn't Jake look so thrilled to be there? :)
