8 Months!

Tyler is 8 Months (and a few weeks)

I kept forgetting to post these pictures that I took of Tyler so here they are!

He's getting so big! 

Warm Weather!!!

Today was beautiful! It was sunny and 50 degrees! Jake had a break between classes so we decided to go on a little bike ride. I got a bike seat for Tyler a few weeks ago and we wanted to use it. We bundled Tyler all up and off we went. We didn't go that far because it was windy but it was great to get out and get the blood pumping and just be out in the sun. Here are a few pictures

Here are a couple of pictures of Tyler from today. He has started getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. Crawling can't be far off! 

Jake was casting bullets a few days ago and it was nice enough that Tyler and I hung out on the porch with him for a little bit. Tyler wasn't quite sure if he liked it. It was pretty windy so we weren't out long.

2 Years!

Today is our 2 year anniversary! Two years ago today I married the best person in the world. I love how much Jake loves me and how much he loves our son. I am so proud of him for all the hard work he does around the house, in school, in his church calling and everywhere else. He is so strong and treats me so well. Tonight he took me out to dinner and then when we got home he played with Tyler for almost 30 minutes before Tyler went to bed. I love it when they are able to play together. It makes me so happy when they play together and Tyler giggles and smiles at Jake. Lately Tyler has been very Mommy-attached and won't sit with Jake or even play with him so tonight was very good and lots of fun.

It's been a great two years and I can't wait to have an eternity more! I love my family!

7 Months!

My baby is 7 months old today and not so babyish anymore! He is turning into a little man and not so much a baby! He doesn't cuddle with me as much anymore because he is so busy and wants to always be doing something! I love him so much! Here are some pictures I took today. Enjoy!

Things Tyler likes:

-Sweet potatoes

-Carrots, squash and zucchini

-Standing. All the time.

-Playing with Mommy and Daddy

-Holding his own bottle

-Smiling all the time at anyone who will smile first

-Skyping with Auntie MeyMey

-Reading books with Mommy

-On long car rides he likes Mommy to sit back by him and play with him

At his last check-up he weighed 17 1/2 lbs but I'm guessing he is closer to 18 lbs now. My arms are going to be ripped pretty soon from bouncing him up and down and just carrying him! He's a little tank. He wears 6-9 month clothes and should probably be bumped up to 9-12 month jammies soon! I think that he will be crawling soon and walking even sooner! He doesn't like to sit on my lap he likes to stand on it. 

He takes awesome naps during the day and has been sleeping through the night for months now. He goes to bed around 7:00 and sleeps through (unless he needs a new diaper) until around 8:00 the next morning. He gets up, we have breakfast and then he gets to watch Bubble Guppies while I shower or do homework. We play for a little bit and then he goes down for a nap around 10:30 and sleeps until 1:30. We have lunch and then play until around 3. He goes to sleep for about an hour as a pick-me-up and then is awake until bed time. 

He's so happy all the time. I am so blessed to have him here! He makes me so happy, I love being his Mommy :)
