We have Movement!

That's right! We have felt our little girl move around officially! Last night she kicked really good for Jake a couple of times. You should have seen his face, it was priceless :) Kind of a look of what-the-heck-was-that and that-is-the-weirdest-thing-i've-ever-felt-in-my-life combination haha.

I have been feeling her move around for about a week and a half now but two nights ago was the first time I felt it with my hand. I told Jake to hurry and come here and put his hand where mine had been. It took a couple of minutes but he felt her move too. It was really faint but still movement.

All day yesterday he had been trying to feel her move again, but she was either asleep or just wasn't in the mood so there wasn't much movement.
Then last night she was going to town and I had him do it again and she did probably 3 or 4 big kicks! Enough that I watched his hand move up and down when she did it. Pretty nifty stuff I would say :) haha

We were to excited about her moving around and I just had to share :)

Oh and because I could, I made a countdown thing on how long it is until we move back to Rexburg.
It's over there if you're curious haha ------>

It's a GIRL!!!!!

We decided to go to an ultrasound studio here in Las Vegas and find out colors to start planning for for our little bean!
We were going to fly up to Rexburg but it would have cost over $400 and on our budget that just wasn't going to work so we found this place that does a gender check for $55 and jumped on it. We found out last Friday that we are having a girl! It was a little hard to determine but the tech said she was very confident in telling us that it was a GIRL!!! :) Yay!

Anyone that wants to see the video of the ultrasound here it is! It is hard to tell what you're looking at most of the time but every once in a while the tech would stay still and not move around and you can see our little girl moving which was very cool!

I haven't felt much movement but there has been some and it has been picking up ever since we got the ultrasound. Or maybe I'm just finally realizing that those little "gas bubbles" I have been feeling are actually the baby haha who knows. I keep trying to get Jake to feel her move but I guess she's not that strong yet and he doesn't feel anything. Oh well, there's time right? :)

We are very excited about having a girl and I can't wait to get back to Rexburg and start getting things ready for her to come!
