7 Months!

My baby is 7 months old today and not so babyish anymore! He is turning into a little man and not so much a baby! He doesn't cuddle with me as much anymore because he is so busy and wants to always be doing something! I love him so much! Here are some pictures I took today. Enjoy!

Things Tyler likes:

-Sweet potatoes

-Carrots, squash and zucchini

-Standing. All the time.

-Playing with Mommy and Daddy

-Holding his own bottle

-Smiling all the time at anyone who will smile first

-Playing on his blanket with toys

-His fuzzy green blanket from Grandma Smith

-Skyping with Auntie MeyMey

-Reading books with Mommy

-On long car rides he likes Mommy to sit back by him and play with him

At his last check-up he weighed 17 1/2 lbs but I'm guessing he is closer to 18 lbs now. My arms are going to be ripped pretty soon from bouncing him up and down and just carrying him! He's a little tank. He wears 6-9 month clothes and should probably be bumped up to 9-12 month jammies soon! I think that he will be crawling soon and walking even sooner! He doesn't like to sit on my lap he likes to stand on it. 

He takes awesome naps during the day and has been sleeping through the night for months now. He goes to bed around 7:00 and sleeps through (unless he needs a new diaper) until around 8:00 the next morning. He gets up, we have breakfast and then he gets to watch Bubble Guppies while I shower or do homework. We play for a little bit and then he goes down for a nap around 10:30 and sleeps until 1:30. We have lunch and then play until around 3. He goes to sleep for about an hour as a pick-me-up and then is awake until bed time. 

He's so happy all the time. I am so blessed to have him here! He makes me so happy, I love being his Mommy :)

Tyler's 6 month Checkup

Tyler went to his 6 month doctors appointment yesterday and it was great! He weights 17 lbs 3 oz and is 27 3/4 inches long! Dr Jones said that he could quite possibly be crawling by the next appointment in April because of how strong he is. 

Here are a few things about my handsome boy:

-Babbles all the time

-Smiles at everyone (most of the time)

-Is starting to get Mommy attached

-doesn't like a lot of people he doesn't know in a new place

-He likes tummy time but only for about 10 minutes. 

-He scoots himself backwards when he's on his tummy

-He LOVES bathtime! He just started splashing and loves his bath toys

-He blows rasberries 

-He eats solid foods and likes spaghetti, pears with cinammon and peaches all mushed up.

-Anything he grabs goes right into his mouth

-He most likely will have bottom teeth within the next week or sooner.

I love my little boy so much and I can't believe he's 6 months already!

Family Pictures

 Hello! It's been a while since I last posted but I have been finishing up the semester and getting ready for Christmas. It's been crazy but fun! 

We went to my parents house for Christmas this year and it was great! We got a lot of things that are going to be so helpful! My mom got us a stick blender so I can make Tyler's food and not have to buy the expensive premade food. Plus it's a way better for him because it's fresh and doesn't have any preservatives. We got some other things that we have been wanting, some movies, some things for my crafty side and a lot more. It was great. 

While we were there my mom wanted to go out and do some family pictures because I bought my fancy new camera. I bought a remote for it so that we could all be in the shot without having to just use the timer function. I am so proud of how they turned out-especially because it was my first time really doing anything like this. I have a crazy idea of doing them more for other people but right now my schedule is so tight and I need to learn more before I would feel comfortable charging people for them. 

Anywhoo-here are the pictures we took! I want to figure out some other poses for the entire family so if you've got any ideas please pass them on!
