First and Last Camping Trip

Hello! It's been a while, I know, I'm sorry I'm a horrible blogger. Oh well haha

So we went camping this last weekend because it will be our only chance to do so this summer. Our baby has some complications and will be coming much sooner than expected, but that's a story for another post. The important thing is that we went camping on our last weekend as a couple without children and it was great! We went into Kelly Canyon with the 4-wheeler and spent the night.

My mom and dad got us two sleeping bags for christmas last year that zip together and make a double sleeping bag. It is a 0 degree one and it is AMAZING! I loved sleeping in it. I was toasty all night long :) I didn't get a whole lot of pictures but I did get a few and here they are.

Here's the sleeping bag that my parents got us. I love them :)

 Our spacious tent :)

The 4-wheeler we borrowed from Jake's brother

The new stove that we bought :) It was so nice to not get ashes in our food

My standard fire picture. I don't know why but I like to take pictures of the fire.

Jake took me out to watch the sunset. This picture doesn't do it justice but it is close. It was so pretty

Jake and Me with my pregnant lady swollen face. I'm just so cute....not.

And the flowers that we went and picked before we left. There were tons of flowers and Jake surprised me by taking me to pick some. I love the colors!

We got there and set up camp, played on the 4 wheeler a little bit and then made dinner. Then we relaxed by the fire and roasted marshmallows.

The next morning Madaline came out with her two boys and we hung out and played until around 3. I got an awesome sunburn on my arms and my face. I would take a picture but you can't really tell that well and it doesn't even come close to looking right so you're going to have to use your imagination. Think lobster haha. But it was a great trip and I'm so glad we were able to get out at least once this summer. Hopefully we can go towards the end but we will see how our baby is doing and if I want to brave a newborn camping haha I'll keep ya posted ;)

Until next time!
